Did 9.5 miles on the bike yesterday. Only my second outing. Addition of a gel seat cover helped keep my butt in reasonable shape though it’s starting to show signs of tenderness.
Next step is to do some seat adjustments as I think it might be tilted a bit too far backward. Discovered a dire need for new hand grips as the existing ones started eating into my palms. Still need a way to hold a water bottle too, but at least I’ve established that there is a bike path all the way to work (even if I didn’t quite make it the full distance yesterday).
