Three weeks of treading water have passed now. With my parents visiting much of my free time was spent with them, although I still attended my pottery and archaeology classes. Then this last week was spent readjusting to being at work (as well as being reminded of how badly I want to get out of my present career).
I’m hoping to talk to my archaeology instructor this week in order to discover just what I need to do in order to further pursue it as a career. I need to know what timeframe I’m looking at before I might be able to get a job in the field. That said, I desperately need to find a better suited job for me to work in the meantime. If I must do web development then I need to find somewhere where I can practice that career where I find the work of the company that employs me to be interesting.
I’ve made no progress with the banjo in weeks. It’s been lost in the background. Been too prone to hitting the Internet and vegging out during the evenings instead of building up my mind or skills. Nothing new has been finished in pottery though there are a handful of works in progress that I hope to bring home over the next few weeks.
Aside from that I’ve finished a handful necklaces. Nothing fancy, just a few simple ones of a design that appeals to me.

I realise this isn’t the best of posts, but my mind isn’t quite in it tonight. Hope for better next time around.
